On May 28, 2022, Honda released the full line update of the 2023 'CRF off-road racing series for the European and American markets.

For the body, the original aluminum alloy double-wing beam frame has been used, but the rigidity has been improved to correspond to the new setting of the suspension system. The 2023 Honda CRF450R has a modified frame. The frame thickness and engine installation have many changes.
The center distance of the new aluminum swing arm is 23 inches, and the wheelbase is 58.3 inches. 13 rebound damping and 15 compression damping adjustments. The steering setting is 27.1 degrees and the wheelbase is 4.5 inches. The claimed weight is 245 pounds wet weight, including full fuel. The front/rear weight distribution is 49/51.
Like street bike, electric auxiliary systems are becoming more and more popular in MX vehicles.
For this reason, the CRF450R is equipped with a comprehensive electronic kit. Honda Optional Torque Control (HSTC) allows riders to choose from three torque transmission modes to optimize the number of wheels.
The HRC start control assists the rider at the start of the race and provides maximum acceleration through gears. Like HSTC, it also provides three levels: Level 1 is designed for professional riders and allows the engine speed to reach 9500 rpm; Level 2 cuts at 8500 rpm, which is applicable to standard state and ordinary riders; Level 3 reduces the speed limit to 8250 rpm, making it easier for novices to drive. Finally, the electronic device also includes an engine mode selection button (EMSB), which allows the rider to modify the characteristics of the engine response according to three modes: standard, smooth and positive.
The 2023 Honda CRF450R has also been developed into a model CRF450RX for Endurance/Bach. Most major components are similar; The main difference is that the 18-inch rear wheel replaces the 19-inch R model, and the Dunlop GeoMAX tire replaces the standard Dunlop MX33s. The RX chassis also uses different steering geometry and a slightly shorter 58.1 inch wheelbase. Both versions share the suspension and brake.
