1. Basic introduction

2. Product Design
The main improvement to the chassis section is a new four-position rear beam axle design, which allows the rider to raise the axle by 2mm or lower the position of the axle by 2 to 4mm to adjust the stability of the rear beam. On the previous-generation Panigale with fixed frame axles, the rear beam would tend to rise when accelerating, resulting in excessive slippage and accelerated tire wear. Not only that, the adjustment of the lifting frame axle can also improve the steering performance of the vehicle.
Of course, even without this adjustment, the Panigale's steering is quick enough. The rest of the "chassis" was left unchanged on the R version. The frame axle of the single-sided rear beam is directly connected to the gearbox, and the secondary frame and a large independent air collecting bellows/steering head are directly connected to the cylinder of the Superquadro engine. This frameless design is not only super compact but also very light. The Panigale is a full 22 pounds lighter than the 1198 it replaces, and at an official weight of 417 pounds (including a full fuel tank), it's one of the lightest production sports cars.
