The 45th Dakar RallyThe 2023 Dakar Rally is the 45th Dakar Rally hosted by Amari Sports Organization (ASO). It is also the fourth Dakar Rally held in Saudi Arabia. This event is also the first round of the World Rally Championship. The event will be held from December 31, 2022 to January 15, 2023.
On January 15, 2023, the Dakar Rally in 2023 ended with Nasser Atia defending the championship of the auto group, and Sebastian Loeb and Lucas Morris winning the second and third place respectively; Kevin Benavides won the championship of the motorcycle group, and Toby Price and Skyler House won the second and third place respectively.

In 2023, Dakar will still compete in Saudi Arabia. The total length of the event is 8549 km, of which 4506 km is a special stage.
The event starts at the sea camp along the Red Sea coast and ends at the opposite side of the Arabian Peninsula. Participants will discover the coast of the Arabian Gulf after four days of exploration in the open area (including the marathon stage).
